Need to get a gps to replace a broken speedometer, low cost, BIG numbers.

Have a Garmin but the speed numbers are way to small to see.

Any suggestions?

Which Garmin do you have? There's a selection of different sized fonts available on newer models.

I use my Garmin’s Drive 50LMT. I have it adjusted for large numbers on display and it shows 3 figures. i keep mine set on Speed/Altitude/Heading, also a great unit for every other outdoor activity.

The Garmin Nuvi 2589LMT (https://www.thegpsstore.com/Garmin-Nuvi-2589LMT-Value-Bundle-P4192.aspx) has fairly large fonts and the speed reading can be seen very clearly. Also, it has pinch to zoom for better visibility. Direct Access is a great feature when you’re looking for a specific store in a mall or say the closest entrance to an airport. Also, the directions are more intuitive - it gives instructions like “turn right after the Wall-Mart store.”
